Ansturm Lieferung (Open)

"Tch, when did I become a gofer again?" He muttered to himself as he rode down the dirt path of the woods. He glanced down at a package that he had strapped underneath his Sniper to keep it from tumbling off of the bike. "Pfft, I don't even know what the hell is in this package..." He sighed and looked upward to see the light peering through the canopy of trees. "Money is money though, It's only a two day trip there to get to a specialized factory marked on the map..." Looking back to the dirt path he was following he glances, at a wide opening in the trees that would allow him to stop for a few moments and stretch. He slows down before gradually coming to a halt

Nova was out in the Condensed forest enjoying his new staff he purchased that allowed him to fly around on a cloud. He kept flying around till he started to feel hungry, he moved toward one of the nearby trees, he pulled outta his bag some bread and eggs, it was still early for him so he didn't want to have a heavy meal. While resting on top of the tree, he started to hear a noise getting louder and louder. As he heard it come to a stop, Nova got back onto his cloud lifting into the air, trying to figure out that strange noise, but trying not to be seen.

Finally seeing in the distance, a man on a bike, it was Nova's first time looking at such a vehicle. He was curious about the weird looking device and continued looking at the man, but unaware he was in plain sight.

After stopping his bike, Quindaro flipped the kickstand down. He looked around briefly before taking his canteen out and drank a little bit before pulling his goggles off. Putting the canteen in his leg pocket he then pulled a map out of his field book along with a compass. "Let's see how far I have to go." he mumbled to himself as he unfolded the map partially to the quadrant that he was in. After 5 minutes of muttering he folded the map back up and replaced it to the book. "I can go 2 hours more before I have to set up camp." he said looking at his watch. Doing a brief pat check of all his effects he put his hands back on the handlebars and pulled the throttle back gently, taking no notice of who may be watching from above.

As Nova noticed that the man hasn't notice his presence, he decided to continue moving forward heading the same direction as the vehicle. He was basically following the man, but making it look like he didn't know what he was doing. After some time, Nova finally came to a stop, noticing that he lost sight of the guy. "Wait what, where did he go? Nova stopped and wondered for awhile, pondering where he could've lost him.

An hour passed of riding, and the sun seemed to be going down faster than anticipated, and his stomach growled at him. "I've gotta get off the road and set up a small fire..." he said while searching for a viable spot to stop at. After 10 minutes he found a clearing that was flat but plateau'd off of the road, thus making him hard to spot if one was traveling on the road, but a group of trees surrounded this spot. Pulling the bike to a halt he dismounted it and stretched a good amount before getting an axe to start cutting at the dead trees that were scattered about.

As Nova gave up on looking for the man and that vehicle he hasn't seen, he started to notice that the daylight was disappearing and was starting to become night. Nova flew down back toward the ground, calling back his cloud into the Scepter of Air and continued walking on foot. He used his sword to chop away some dead logs on the floor and a good dozen rocks, to keep the fire from spreading. Not trying to make a tent today, since he's been a little down lately, he was just planning on just laying on the ground near the fire and once morning comes to head out bright and early.

After setting up the fire and getting everything set, Nova pulled out his dinner he had wrapped in a type of container. He started placing only the meat on a stick and started heating it up, being able to heat nice warm food once in a awhile was good in its own way, Nova thought to himself. Smelling the strong scent of the seasoned meat, he was concerned about anything catching its scent, or bringing any unnecessary animals, or monsters to him.

After gathering a good sized pile of wood, he buried the axe into a nearby tree as he opened a side box to the motorcycle, removing a box of matches and a small canister of Kerosine. After getting the fire started, Quindaro pulled out a small tub from the box which contained some fresh meat that he bought in town earlier in the morning. "Alright, food's on the skewer and cooking. Now it's time to see if my trapping skills are up to par still." He said pulling a rope from his backpack along with some pieces of cornbread and went into the woods and set the snare trap up within sight of the camp. "Hopefully breakfast will step in." he said smiling a little before heading back to camp, pulling his pistol out and laying it across his lap as he sat down near the fire, slowly rotating his dinner quietly humming an old Railroad tune he learned when he was young.

Nova started to eat his food, while looking at the now darkened sky with the stars starting to shine brightly. He finished his meal and placed everything back into his bag, while then placing the bag onto the tree to use it as a type of pillow, a very uncomfortable one but it was better then nothing. As he started to doze off, he kept his sword in his hand and trying to keep his guard up as long as possible since he was traveling alone today.

Quindaro rubbed his stomach, setting down the now half full canteen down on the ground as he burped. "That was too good..." he said wiping his mouth off. He then looked up through the clearing of the trees briefly, wondering what tomorrow will have in store for him. Pulling his cot roll off of the bottom of his backpack, he partially unfolded it to sit comfortably on the ground before retracting his arms out of the sleeves of his jacket before feeding the fire one last time before starting to nod off, his pistol loosely gripped in his hand.

Nova woke up pretty early in the morning, he had put out the fire and continued walking toward the same direction as the other day but on foot. As he started walking he started having this thought about the man from yesterday, that he would probably not get the chance to see that vehicle again, but it didn't really bother him, he had his moment of curiosity but his focus always shift from one thing to another. Nova started to walk along the path starting to smell something burning, being on guard Nova stop walking on the road, trying to sneak around to see who it could be. Once he starts getting closer he gets his foot caught on some type of trap, falling to the ground. "Ugh what happened"

Quindaro was already starting to awaken gradually, checking his watch and deciding that he was allowed to doze for a while longer. But after hearing a decently loud thump off in the distance outside of the camp. After hearing that he stood, dropping his jacket to the ground as he grabbed his rifle, "Hopefully that would be breakfast." he said under his breath, looking over to the spot where he set the trap. He saw a man hanging upside down on the snare, his face a few inches off of the ground. "Heh, You don't look like what I intended eat." he said sarcastically before setting the rifle down and pulling one of his knives out of the sheath from behind, and walked over to the other part of the rope to drop the stranger from the trap.

"Well aren't i glad you don't enjoy human flesh like some would. Nova said with a little chuckle while he was still hanging by the rope, once he was released and now on his feet, he looked up at the man. "That was one, really well placed trap, i could've sworn i believed my broke a few bones from that" He said with a smile then extended his hand out to greet and thank the kind man.

"Well thanks, for freeing me when i basically ruined your trap, my name is Nova, nice to meet you"

Quindaro slid the knife into it's sheath, "It's no problem at all, trapping a rabbit or a squirrel was only in hopes I could make a fresh tasting breakfast." He said as he shook Nova's hand "The name's Quindaro." After letting go of Nova's hand he turned and grabbed his Dragonov rifle and walked back to the campsite, gesturing for Nova to follow him. "Would you like something to eat? It's the least I can do for catching you in a snare like that." he said walking over to his bike and leaning the rifle against it as he rummaged through one of the side boxes.

"Well nice to meet you Quindaro" Nova said as he started to follow him into his camp, he soon noticed the vehicle. "Oh wow, you were the one using that strange device" He said while pointing toward his bike, but soon replied to his question. "Actually i have some fresh food i caught not long ago, just some meat and rice if you want some" He placed his bag onto the ground stretching out the knots he had in his back, from when he got caught in a trap.

Quindaro pulled a box out and an oil rag, sticking the rag in his back pocket, he walked over to the fire and pulled some meat and skewered it before placing it over the fire to cook slowly. "I'm fine with this, but thank you." he said as he sat down and put the black jacket on. "So where you headed to?" he asked as he pulled his pistol out and dropped the magazine, he then ejected the bullet out by racking the slide backward. Catching the flying bullet he put it in the magazine, before taking the slide and pressing a button and sliding it forward to dismantle it. He started cleaning the inner workings while waiting for a response from this Nova character

Nova started to feel a little more calmer talking to Quindaro as he sat down near his bag. "Sure man your welcome to if you would like, i had my fill for now" Nova said while he threw his bag onto his back once more. "Well i don't have any plans for today, just been flying around scouting the area with my new items i recently acquired" Nova reached onto the side of his bag and pulled out the water bottle that was placed there and took a couple sips before looking back at Quindaro. "What about you? You seemed like you were hauling somewhere yesterday"

Quindaro chuckled briefly, still looking down at the pistol, "I'm playing delivery boy for some guy back in Kiru city, said there was a bit of money in it for me to deliver a parcel to some back factory and the most direct route is through the forest." He blew into the frame and started to clean the dust that had accumulated, "To be quite honest I hate doing jobs like this, especially when I don't know whats in this parcel nor what this place is.. he just gave me co-ordinance on a map and said to deliver it there. Can't argue when you need money though." he ended with a chuckle.

"Well it's not all that bad of a job, unless you go to the place and its a bunch of no people who try to attack you and your there like, well i just came to drop a package, not to kick your asses" Nova said while giving a small chuckle. "But yea, i understand man, its kinda why i always work or have to do something half the time" Nova said as he paused, then pulled out his sword and one of his Kunai's. "I make type o things like this here with my blacksmith job, although my sword was very difficult and one of my prized masterpieces" He said while holding his sword out then placing it back into his sheath.  

"Just hope everything goes alright for you man, kinda sounds sketchy though"

Quindaro nodded, "Yeah, I've been contemplating what this package even forebodes." he said pulling the slide back onto the frame before putting the magazine back in before putting it into the holster on his hip. "I know what it's like creating something that you love." he said with a slight grin as he gestured to the bike. "That's my baby, she was a mere frame and two wheels when I got her so many years ago." He then turned the meat so it would cook on the other side. "Although the life of a Mechanic is never fulfilled due to the amount of things that could go wrong."

"Well she's a awesome piece of work, never seen something like that, so it caught my attention" Nova said while itching to try it out, but knowing he couldn't be able to handle the bike properly. "Well i know nothing about being a Mechanic, but i can agree on the part where there's could be alot of problems, when it comes to something you love to do" Nova started to look around the area becoming quite timid for some reason. "Well i thank you for not eating me and giving me the time to talk to you, but i don't want to keep you away from your job" Nova said with a smile, but worried on the inside, like he could tell of another presence nearby. He couldn't really sense people's positions or anything like that, but during his training alone, he gets some type of feeling when someone else is in the vicinity, unable to tell if its a friendly or not.

Quindaro shrugged, "I'm not on a bad timetable or anything, even if I don't leave for another hour, I can still make it by the evening." he said with a smile. But his ears perked slightly as he heard a couple of twigs snap on the road. Standing very quietly he set the food down on his bike before kicking a load of dirt onto the fire, putting it out nearly instantly. He grabbed his rifle, and pressed himself against the small hill that led up to the road. He knew that these sounds generating from the road were either just merchants traveling through the forest, or they were the Orc Sentinels the man had warned him about when he started this journey. Either way, he didn't want to take that chance.

Nova's attempt to try not to get Quindaro involved into what he was feeling was nearby, but he could tell as quickly as i could. Nova noticed how fast he reacted and pressed himself against the nearby small hill, while looking at Quindaro, he unsheathed his sword and jumped onto a nearby tree, getting to the top, and peering over to see if he could catch a view on whoever was on the road but didn't have any luck seeing anything.

Nova wanted to call out his cloud and fly around to see who he could see, but it would be much smarter if he stayed hidden and carefully seek who is currently in the vicinity instead of acting rash. Nova quickly placed his sword into the sheath and ran from tree to tree, while looking over his shoulder at Quindaro, making sure he was still in the line of sight just in case.

Quindaro watched as Nova ran from tree to tree, "Guess I'll take the hill." He thought as he climbed the hill, flat on his stomach, he brought his rifle to his side as he pulled a small pair of binoculars out from a pouch that lay at his side. Bringing them up he peaked over the crest of the hill, barely enough to see what was coming down the road.

As Nova looked over at the road he couldn't see much from his perspective, he glanced over at Quindaro mounted over at the hillside. He wanted to know if he could see anything from where he was positioned at, but soon after Nova could spot a group of Goblins, there was at least four of them together, Nova went back to hiding against the tree, not trying to get discovered by them, before regrouping with Quindaro. Nova then moved silently and quickly back to Quindaro's camp, once meeting back up with his newly found friend, he started questioning him on what they should do. "As you could see, theirs a small group of Goblins, i have no idea what those gremlins are doing around this part of the forest" Nova pondered as he tried remembering any signs or reasons this could happen. "Well with your bike and my cloud, we could outrun them, i can't tell if their searching for someone or something, but Goblins don't just show up outta the blue"



((OOC: i didn't know what else to put, and also i couldn't do the monster dice for some reason to get their difficulties >.<))

Quindaro observed for a minute or so and determined they had about 2 minutes before they would have to either fight or run. Sliding down the hill he put his binoculars away and slung the rifle onto his back as he stood. "I was warned before leaving the city that there were a couple bands of orcs looking to come upon travelers and/or merchants... and from the looks of it, they don't have any mounted guard that could catch up to us..." He walked over to his bike and took the piece of meat and bit into it then throwing the rest into what used to be his campfire. "I think we could probably outrun them." he said pulling a bungee chord over the parcel and locking down both boxes on the sides of the bike. "We've got a minute before they start down this way, so whatever your gonna do, do it fast." he said putting his goggles on, and prepping his sidearm.
