   Background/History: Kerum was born in the shadowlands, it was there that his father trained him and taught him about the world and what it was like.  Following his parents footsteps he worshiped the Deity of Shadows and gained a lust for knowledge and truth.  

Through this he found out that most of how he was raised was based on lies.  He had been taught that humans were food and that angels must be slaughtered at all costs.  Deciding that these were lies fabricated to control the youth and continue senseless war he left the Shadowlands and joined the rest of the world.  He was only eighteen when he left, leaving his family behind and never looking back.  

It was not long into his new journey that he ran into a angel on a quest to purge all demons from the world.  The fight had been brutal, Kerum was just trying to survive against the onslaught of the angel who utilized fire to its utmost potential.  The angel burnt half of Kerum's face before the young demon finally escaped, to this day he dislikes angels and fire even more as he wears a blue mask on the half of his face that was burnt.  

Now he wanders around trying to learn all he can and to get by.  

   Personality: Kerum is a neutral party, he might worship a evil deity but he is not inherently good or bad.  He craves knowledge and can usually be found trying to learn more.  Introverted is a great word for Kerum as he stays to himself and when in a group prefers to observe in the background.  Blatant liars is probably one of the few things that will send him over the edge and cause him to rage.
