Beginnings (Open)

Lulu was flapping above the city, a smile on her small face as the wind pushed its way into her hair and wings. She was taking a joyride so to speak, just out having fun. Grey eyes focused on the ground below, and she spotted another angel. Silently, she curiously circled above the... male creature. Not often was it she saw another of her species; she tried to stay away from the public most of the time. But for her lack of concentration on the air a large bird, likely a hawk or falcon of some kind, lunged at the small girl. Protecting territory maybe. She yelped as she felt a few wing feather fall off, and then she dived down to escape the bird's wrath. Until now she had forgotten about the other angel, the male angel no less. Fear pierced her heart, but she had to land now. Just before she smacked the ground, her white, grey, and black wings flapped once as she aimed her feet for the ground. Lulu let out a little huff of air as she watched the sky not 10 feet from the stranger. The large bird of prey seemed uninterested now, and the little girl sighed. But now she had a new threat, this male, and her eyes quickly shifted to him as she stood her ground. "Oh, uh hi. Are you ok sir?" She asked with a tiny voice, hoping he wasn't angry or violent.

The child gulped and watched Eden; he seemed friendly. He was tall, and he towered over her, but she forced her quickly beating heart to calm itself. "I, it's ok, I'm ok... Um, my name is Lulu." She said, stumbling over her words as her small wings sat on her back tightly. She had a bag strapped onto her shoulder; it looked like a first aid bag. She reached into it and pulled out her comfort doll; it was for when she was scared. Tightly she hugged the little lavender cat doll, taking deep breaths.

Lulu gulped in fear. She took another deep breath, nodding a little. She stepped closer, but didn't quite seem completely trusting. "Ok..." She mumbled, not quite sure why he even wanted her closer. She was going to heal her own wing once she was out of this situation.

Lulu gasped in shock; she wasn't even afraid anymore. How cool would a power like that be? Then his wings disappeared, although she wouldn't like that. She loved her wings. "Oh, I was just flying around for some fun. And uh, sure, as long as it isn't anything bad I wouldn't mind seeing." She replied happily, backing up a few steps for safety. Then she pulled from her bag her claws and fixed them on her hand, retracting them so the were sitting above her palm and wrist. Just in case. With a bright smile she waited for Eden to lead.

Lulu followed the man in silence, lost in thought. Running away, was that her only option? Why was that all she did? She was quickly snapped off her train of thought as Eden asked her a question. "Huh? Oh yes, I love cats." She responded with a little giggle.

Lulu was looking around at the many pets and animal cries as she followed Eden inside of the store. One particularly large dog frightened the child, and she snuggled her stuffed cat closer into the crook of her neck. With her eyes wide her attention landed on Eden again, now smiling at the small animal he held. "Oh yes! They're so cute! Awwww!" She replied happily, giggling.

Lulu's eyes were as wide as they could be, practically having a heart attack with excitement. Ohmygosh ohmygosh! I love her! I'll call her... Pix!" She giggled, staring at the kitten to see if she had a reaction to the name. None. But why would she? It was a new name. Lulu held the kitten close to her chest, wondering if Nova would let her keep Pix. He probably would, but nothing was for certain. "I'll have to ask Nova if I can keep her. But if I can't um... I dunno what I'll do. I mean I'll be home and not with you anymore so... How will I get her to you if Nova says no?" She rambled, rubbing behind the kitten's ear.
