Guidelines of Roleplaying actions and Combat Actions

Post by Kurei Natsumori on Wed Jul 01, 2015 11:06 am

Roleplaying Actions

These actions are guidelines to help aid in roleplaying to AVOID arguments. If arguments occur, this will most likely be referenced in solving the dispute if too many actions occur in one post.

When out of combat and simply wandering about attempt to describe and take time in what you're doing. Don't just fast forward all of your actions to simple one sentence. Doing so may hinder a action that someone else was looking forward to doing.
Simply do things one step at a time, if everyone agrees to take a rest, it's generally the only time that may excuse the little fast forward action as long as your roleplay what occurs during that time, or describe how the time passed.

In and out of Combat you'll generally have 3 actions to preform, a Movement, a Standard, and a Minor. Preferably it's best to do no more than these 3 actions in Combat within your single post.

  • Movement - Move your character, you may do this once or twice during each post ranging up to several 35 feet per post. You can also use this to dodge/ jump away, swim, or sneak around, etc.

  • Minor - Minor actions could be something as simple as talking, doing the perquisites for your attacks, drinking potions, activating equipment, reloading, smell, see, hear,  etc.

  • Standard -  Your standard action shall be to use 1 ability or powers, maybe add in a flurry of attacks or a certain combo that you have in mind. This can also be changed into running or moving again! ((Remember No Bunny Moding)) Which includes Helping someone, Attacking, Blocking & Counter-attacking, preforming a feint, casting a power, charging a power, Shooting at someone, stealing, dancing, singing, etc.
